The 39th Session of the ISO/TC29/SC5 subcommittee of the International Organization for Standardization Small Tool Technical Committee was held on May 19, 2015 in Naples, Italy. The Chinese delegation, headed by Liu Mingyao, chairman of the National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee, and Bao Hua, secretary-general of the National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee, and Chen Xuewei, secretary of the National Abrasives Abrasives Technical Committee, attended the session. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Geoff Clarke, Chairman of ISO/TC29/SC5. The eight P member countries attending this meeting are: Austria (ASI), China (SAC), France (AFNOR/UNM), Germany (DIN), Italy (UNI), Norway (SN), Slovenia (SIST), UK (BSI).

The meeting discussed the work report of the 39th Secretariat, working reports of WG3 (coated abrasives), WG5 (consolidated abrasives), WG7 (abrasives), WG9 (precision superhard abrasives), current international standards The results of the review, the international standard proposal. The participating delegations discussed and voted on each item of the meeting item by item. Finally, the meeting formed and adopted 20 meeting resolutions. The meeting also confirmed the meeting requirements for the next session (40th session).

Prior to this meeting, the Secretariat of the National Abrasives Standards Committee contacted the technical experts of the P member countries of ISO/TC29/SC5 by e-mail and telephone, expressing the intention of China to submit the international standard for diamond micropowder. Willingness and key information about the proposal. In view of this, this meeting added the discussion topics of the international standard proposal to be submitted by China on the original agenda. After discussion at the meeting, the following decision was made: Since there are not enough suitable technical experts in ISO/TC29/SC5 to undertake the work related to the proposal, it is necessary to contact enough appropriate technical experts to determine how the proposal will be carried out (for example, to establish a new The way the working group is).

In addition, at the invitation of Hermes Schleifmittel, Liu Mingyao, chairman of the National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee, visited the company's coated abrasives production plant in Austria. Mr. Johann Unterwieser, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Hermes Schleifmittel, Mr. Wolfgang Heidtmann, Vice President of Business Development, and Mr. Franz Nebel, Head of Technical Support, received a warm reception. Ferro Molybdenum

Ferro Molybdenum composed of molybdenum and iron, generally containing 50 to 60% of molybdenum, are used as alloying additives for steelmaking. Ferro molybdenum is an alloy of molybdenum and iron. Its main use is as a molybdenum addition agent in steelmaking. The addition of molybdenum to the steel allows the steel to have a uniform fine-grained structure and increase the hardenability of the steel, which is beneficial to the elimination of temper brittleness. In high-speed steel, molybdenum can replace a portion of tungsten. Molybdenum is used in combination with other alloying elements to produce stainless steels, heat-resistant steels, acid-resistant steels and tool steels, as well as alloys with special physical properties. Molybdenum added to cast iron can increase its strength and wear resistance.
