Installation and use of compressed air filters

The function of the compressed air filter is to filter the impurities of the compressed air. When the compressed air passes through the filter, the impurities are adsorbed and trapped due to contact flocculation, adsorption, and entrapment of the filter medium (carbon fiber, activated carbon, etc.) in the filter. The filtration of the filter can further reduce the turbidity of the compressed air and the like.

Installation and use of compressed air filter



1. Installation must be performed without pressure on the system.



2. Install the connections in the order of “first coarse and then fine”.



3. Pay attention to the filter intake arrow mark “—>”, and install according to this air flow direction.



4. Tighten the housing with a belt wrench.



5. Install the ball valve and the corresponding automatic drainer and tighten (or tighten the fixing bolts).



6. Connect the operating system piping and the corresponding other connectors.



Note: The seal between the cylinders must be properly installed to prevent air leakage at the joint.



After the installation is completed, check to see if the intake direction is normal, and the corresponding ball valve is open to check if the drain pipe is connected. Finally, check for air leaks. The leaking part needs to be wrapped with sealing tape and tightened again. Repeat the above steps until the filter is ready for normal operation or standby.
