A hydraulic hose is a flexible tube made of synthetic rubber, thermoplastic or reinforced with wire or textile braid. It is used to transmit hydraulic fluid under high pressure to various hydraulic components such as cylinders, valves, and pumps. Hydraulic hoses are designed to withstand high pressure, extreme temperatures, and various types of fluids, including oil, water, and hydraulic fluids. They are commonly used in industries such as construction, agriculture, mining, and manufacturing. Hydraulic hoses come in different sizes, lengths, and pressure ratings to suit different applications.

In the first half of the year, the national electricity market showed a moderate growth trend
In June, the China Electric Power Enterprise Association reported that the country's electricity supply and demand remained balanced for the first half of the year. Total national electricity consumption reached 2,499.6 billion kWh, reflecting a 5.1% year-on-year increase—slightly lower than the growth rate observed in the same period last year. This indicates a moderate pace of growth in the electricity market, continuing from the previous year but with a slight decline compared to the prior year’s performance.
Looking at sectoral breakdowns, the primary industry saw a marginal decrease in electricity use, dropping by 0.8% to 46.1 billion kWh, which accounted for 1.8% of total consumption. The secondary industry, however, showed steady growth, consuming 1,841.9 billion kWh—an increase of 4.9%—and contributing 73.8% of the total electricity demand. Its contribution to overall growth was significant, at 70.3%. Meanwhile, the tertiary sector experienced a more robust rise, with electricity use climbing 9.3% to 292.5 billion kWh, making up 11.7% of total consumption.
Urban and rural residents’ electricity usage also rose, reaching 315.6 billion kWh, an increase of 3.9% compared to the same period last year. However, this growth was 8.8 percentage points lower than the previous year, and it contributed 9.7% to the overall growth in electricity demand.
Regionally, 16 provinces recorded electricity consumption growth rates higher than the national average of 5.1%. Notably, Xinjiang led with a staggering 31.1% increase, followed by Yunnan (13.1%), Qinghai (11.3%), and Hainan (10.9%). In contrast, Shanghai had the lowest growth at just 0.2%.
In June, the overall electricity consumption growth rate saw a slight upward trend compared to the previous month. Residential electricity use increased notably both year-on-year and month-on-month, while manufacturing activity showed a modest rise. On the other hand, the four high-energy-consuming industries experienced a slight decline in their growth rate compared to May. Hydropower generation, however, saw a sharp drop in output compared to the same period last year. Despite this, regional power transmission across the country grew rapidly, with the Southwest grid experiencing a negative year-on-year change in west-to-east power transfers, yet still seeing an increase in volume compared to the previous month.
