Five avoidance of application of microbial pesticides

When using microbial insecticides, it's important to follow proper application guidelines to maximize their effectiveness. One key consideration is avoiding mixing them with fungicides. For instance, *Ophiocordyceps sinensis*, a fungal-based bioinsecticide, works by infecting pests such as aphids through live spores. These spores can cause ongoing infections and lead to high mortality rates. However, if mixed with a bactericide, the live fungi will be killed, and the insecticidal effect will be lost entirely. Secondly, avoid applying these products during dry or hot weather. Applying them between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on a sunny day is not recommended because the low humidity reduces the spores’ ability to survive and infect pests. Instead, choose times when the air is more humid—such as early morning, after a cloudy day, or following rainfall. These conditions help maintain the viability of the spores and improve their performance. Third, be cautious of heavy rain after application. Spores are highly sensitive to water runoff, and heavy rain can wash them away, reducing their effectiveness. However, light rain that occurs 5–6 hours after spraying can actually enhance the results. This is because the moisture helps the spores germinate more effectively, leading to faster pest death. Therefore, it’s wise to check the weather forecast before applying and plan accordingly. Fourth, avoid applying microbial pesticides in cold temperatures. Some users overlook environmental conditions and apply the product during winter or early spring when temperatures are low. This can significantly reduce the desired control effect. Most biological pesticides work best in warmer conditions—between 25°C and 30°C. Studies show that the efficacy of microbial insecticides at this temperature range is up to two times higher than when applied between 10°C and 15°C. Lastly, avoid applying during midday when sunlight is strongest. Strong UV rays can damage spores and reduce their effectiveness. The ultraviolet radiation can also affect the parasporal crystals, which are essential for the insecticidal action. To minimize exposure, it's best to apply the product in the late afternoon, after 4:00 PM, or on overcast days when sunlight is less intense. By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your microbial insecticides perform optimally, providing better pest control while maintaining environmental safety. Always read the label carefully and adjust your application strategy based on local weather conditions and crop needs.

Recessed Led Panel Light

Rhein Lighting has provided a line of recessed Led Panel Light. The flat panel light has No LGP, back-lit design, and the lens is made of PMMA and will not yellowing over time, which is much more bright and more durable than edge-lit light panel. Take 2x2 led light drop ceiling for example, it can replace the equivalent of 420W fluorescent tubes, saving you up to 80% in energy consumption.

The led ceiling panel light provides long-life and uniform illumination, in addition to being equipped with a 0-10V dimmable driver. These led light panels are ETL, DLC, CE, ROHS approved, and it has a 5 years limited warranty.

Rhein Lighting is a specialized in the design and manufacture of led panel downlight, led slim down light, backlit led panel light, led rope light, Led Strip Light, led plant light and Led Grow Light etc.
