**Installation Instructions:**
1. **Alarm Placement:** The gas detector should be installed within a 1.5-meter radius of the gas source, in a well-ventilated area.
- (1) Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is heavier than air, so it should be mounted approximately 0.3 meters above the floor.
- (2) Natural gas, city gas, and carbon monoxide are lighter than air, so they should be placed about 0.3 meters below the ceiling.
2. **Avoid These Locations:** Do not install the alarm in corners, inside cabinets, or areas where airflow is restricted. Also avoid places that may be exposed to smoke, dust, or grease.
3. **Handle with Care:** During installation, avoid dropping, shaking, or hitting the device, as this could damage the internal components and render the alarm ineffective.
4. **No Direct Airflow:** Do not place the alarm in areas with strong ventilation or large air currents, as this may affect its sensitivity.
5. **Keep Clear:** Ensure the alarm is not covered or blocked by any objects, which could prevent it from detecting gas leaks properly.
6. **Avoid Vibration Sources:** Do not install the device near vibrating appliances such as refrigerators or air conditioners, as this may cause false alarms or malfunction.
**Usage Guide:**
1. **Power Indicator:** A green light indicates the device is powered on. It turns off when an alarm is triggered.
- **Alarm Indicator:** A red light will illuminate during an alarm and turn off once the alarm is cleared.
2. **Startup Procedure:** After turning on the power, the green light will remain on or blink for 3 minutes, indicating the system is operational.
3. **Gas Detection:** When the detected gas reaches the alarm threshold, the green light turns off, the red light comes on, and the buzzer sounds “B, B, B…†until the gas concentration drops below the set level.
4. **Manual Test Function:** If the device has a manual test button, pressing it will turn off the green light, activate the red light, and trigger the buzzer.
5. **Exhaust Fan Integration:** If the unit is connected to an exhaust fan, the fan will automatically activate during an alarm to remove harmful gases.
6. **Valve Control Function:** If integrated with a solenoid valve or robotic system, the gas supply will be automatically shut off when an alarm occurs, preventing further leakage.
7. **Network Connectivity:** With network features enabled, the control center or management system will receive a signal (NO/NC) when an alarm is triggered, allowing remote monitoring.
