Check and Preparation of Screw Chillers before Starting up

The air-cooled screw chiller and water-cooled screw chiller purchased by some users may not start up and stop in the winter when the ambient temperature is low. Then when the machine is turned off after a period of shutdown, the oil heater should be energized for 12 hours before operation to heat the oil. Check whether the fuse tube in the circuit is intact, and measure the phase voltage of the main motor of the water-cooled screw chiller and the air-cooled screw chiller. The average unstable voltage of the phase should not exceed 2% of the rated voltage.


In addition, to see if the direction of rotation of the main motor is correct, whether the setting value of each relay is within the range specified in the specification; check if the direction of rotation of the oil pump of air-cooled screw chiller and water-cooled screw chiller is normal and whether the oil pressure difference meets the instructions. The requirements of the regulations; Check whether the refrigerant in the screw chiller refrigeration system meets the specified requirements, whether there is leakage, if it needs to be added to the specified range.


Because the air in the air-cooled screw chiller and water-cooled screw chiller evaporators, condensers, and related pipes have been drained before the winter shutdown, the air inside them must be drained first and then filled with water; All kinds of water meters, thermometers, pressure gauges, and flowmeters are just normal and correct, and the flow switch action is normal.


Then continue to check whether the chilled water pump, cooling water pump and cooling tower are operated safely and stably; and whether all valves in the water-cooled screw chiller, air-cooled screw chiller, and water system are operated flexibly to ensure that there is no leakage or seizure; each valve The position of the switch meets the operating requirements of the system.


After completing the above-mentioned inspections and preparations for the screw chiller, it is followed by daily inspection and preparation before starting the machine.
