Slewing bearings are large and medium-sized bearings designed with a special configuration that allows them to withstand significant axial, radial, and overturning loads. These bearings typically come with pre-drilled holes, lubrication channels, and sealing systems, making them suitable for various types of machinery operating under different conditions. Their compact design makes installation and maintenance straightforward, offering ease of rotation and protection. Slewing bearings are widely used in heavy-duty equipment such as lifting and transport machines, metallurgical machinery, mining equipment, construction machinery, port handling systems, and automated production lines. There are several types of slewing bearings based on their layout. These include four-point contact ball bearings, double-row ball bearings, single-row cylindrical roller bearings, and three-row cylindrical roller bearings. Bearings can also be categorized by whether they have teeth or not—non-toothed, externally-toothed, or internally-toothed. Each type of slewing bearing is designed to meet specific load requirements. For example, four-point contact ball bearings offer high dynamic load capacity, while inserted cylindrical roller bearings provide superior static load capacity. Three-row cylindrical roller bearings enhance the load capacity in the vertical direction, allowing different raceways and roller groups to handle various types of loads efficiently. This results in a more compact design under similar loading conditions. The code for a slewing bearing consists of a root code and a suffix code. The fundamental code is divided into three parts: the first part indicates the bearing type and drive method, the second part refers to the roll diameter (or the maximum diameter for multi-row bearings), and the third part represents the intermediate roll diameter (or the largest diameter for multi-row bearings). The bearing layout code follows Table 1 rules: - 01: Four-point contact ball bearing - 02: Double-row ball bearing - 11: Inserted cylindrical roller bearing - 13: Three-row cylindrical roller bearing The drive type code is based on Table 2: - 0: Toothless - 1: Involute cylindrical gear, external tooth, small module - 2: Involute cylindrical gear, external tooth, large module - 3: Involute cylindrical gear, internal tooth, small module - 4: Involute cylindrical gear, internal tooth, large module When coding, the layout code and drive code are written consecutively, separated by a dot. In addition to their mechanical applications, slewing bearings are essential in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing. Their versatility and durability make them an indispensable component in modern engineering systems. For more information on bearings and related topics, visit China Bearing Network.

Work Belt

Work belt is a tool belt worn by professionals and DIY enthusiasts to hold and organize tools while working. It typically consists of a sturdy belt made of leather, nylon, or another durable material, with various pouches and pockets attached for holding tools and accessories.

The design and number of pouches can vary, but common features include hammer loops, tape measure holders, screwdriver slots, and pockets for nails, screws, and other small items. Some work belts may also have loops or clips for attaching larger tools or equipment, such as power drills or saws.

Work belts are commonly used by construction workers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople who need quick access to their tools while working on a job site. They can also be useful for DIY projects around the home or workshop.

When choosing a work belt, it's important to consider the type and number of tools you'll need to carry, as well as the level of comfort and support you require. A good work belt should be sturdy and durable, with adjustable sizing to ensure a comfortable fit. Some models also offer additional features such as padding or a back support belt for added comfort during long hours of work.
