Qian'an emergency rescue skills contest

Recently, Qian’an City organized its fourth emergency rescue skills competition as part of the annual "Production Safety Month" campaign. A total of 154 employees from 29 key enterprises—covering sectors such as metallurgy, coking, hazardous chemical production, and hazardous material storage—participated in the event. The one-day competition featured a variety of practical and theoretical challenges designed to enhance emergency response capabilities. Participants were tested on their knowledge through a written exam, followed by hands-on tasks including wearing an air breathing apparatus, applying hemostasis and bandaging techniques, performing CPR, using a 4kg dry powder fire extinguisher, and practicing rapid escape procedures. These activities not only evaluated participants' technical skills but also emphasized the importance of quick decision-making and teamwork during emergencies.
