Mitsui plans to sell Mozambique LNG to Japan

According to Reuters, Tokyo, November 29, Mitsui, one of the world's leading Fortune 500 companies, said today that the company intends to annually consume one of the world’s largest LNG projects from a major LNG project in Mozambique’s seas. Japan sells 5 million tons of LNG.

Two LNG plants in Mozambique that plan to have an annual capacity of 5 million tons of LNG are expected to start production of LNG as early as 2018.

Japan Mitsui has a 20% stake in this project.
