It is not advisable to choose diammonium phosphate in the chamber

Diammonium phosphate is a good fertilizer, soluble in water, and has good quick-acting effect. It can be used as both base fertilizer and top dressing. It has played an important role in agricultural production in the phosphorus-deficient areas of northern China, and has been valued and welcomed by farmers. It is a young vegetable grower who is very proud of the fertilizer of diammonium phosphate. However, with the large use of phosphate fertilizer, especially in the greenhouse soil with a large amount of fertilization, phosphorus excess has become a prominent problem in the greenhouse soil. In this case, it is unreasonable to use diammonium phosphate as a top dressing.

Diammonium phosphate is a low-nitrogen, high-phosphorus binary compound fertilizer with 18% nitrogen and 46% phosphorus pentoxide. The nutrient content of diammonium phosphate is not suitable for current soil fertility and vegetable growth requirements. At present, the problem of excessive application of phosphate fertilizer is widespread in the fertilization of vegetable farmers. The amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in fertilizer application is not much different, especially the chicken manure with the largest application rate in the base fertilizer. The nutrient characteristics are high nitrogen, high phosphorus and low potassium. In contrast, the nutrients required for vegetable growth have the largest demand for nitrogen and potassium, while phosphate fertilizers are relatively small, sometimes even less expensive than calcium fertilizers. Over time, a large amount of phosphorus will accumulate in the soil.

Excessive phosphorus will be thick and dense leaves, dark green leaves, short plants, too short internodes, inhibited vegetative growth, weak growth, and accelerated maturity of reproductive organs, resulting in small vegetative bodies, developed roots, and many roots. . In addition, too much phosphorus can cause the absorption of iron, zinc, calcium, etc. to be blocked, causing deficiency. In recent years, the yellow leaf phenomenon caused by the deficiency has become more and more serious, and it is not related to the excessive phosphorus fertilizer in the greenhouse soil.

In addition, for vegetables, nitrate nitrogen is more conducive to absorption, and excessive application of ammonium nitrogen will not only affect the ground temperature, but also increase the gas damage when it is not ventilated on a cloudy day.

Therefore, the soil conditions have changed and fertilization should change. In the high-phosphorus soil of greenhouse vegetable fields, it is no longer possible to blindly apply diammonium phosphate, and it is even more difficult to apply diammonium phosphate when topdressing. Fertilization should be carried out according to vegetable varieties and different growth and development periods, pay attention to balanced fertilization, and strengthen the application of trace elements in calcium, zinc, boron and molybdenum.
