Recently, a PTT flexible staple fiber production line is under construction in Fujian Shishi. The production line is jointly invested by Shishi Wenxing Group, Quanzhou Haitian Group and DuPont. At present, the ordering of complete sets of equipment for this production line has been completed and will be delivered to Shishi installations one after another.
According to the DuPont company's power of attorney, DuPont will provide related technology for manufacturing PTT staple fiber to this production project and provide technical guidance during the production process. This is the only PTT factory authorized by DuPont in Mainland China and the second PTT production plant in the world to obtain this authorization. According to Ouyang Wenxian, chairman of Wenxing Group, the entire production line will only invest more than 200 million yuan in equipment.
This time, Wenxing teamed up with Haitian two major textile groups to jointly invest RMB 500 million to build the project. It hopes to use the 100-mu production base of Wenxing Group in Shishi Jinshang Industrial Zone, and adopts the corn-based Sorona polymerization of DuPont. Material technology, development, production and sales of PTT staple fiber, functional fiber, fine denier fiber, hollow fiber and other products. After the project is completed, the annual output value will reach 1.5 billion yuan.

It is very advantageous and is very suitable for the field of clothing and clothing. This fiber is blended, interlaced and interwoven with natural fibers such as wool and cotton or synthetic fibers, and many new types of textile fabrics can be developed, which can be applied to carpets, decorative materials, and non-woven fabrics.
