These cables and components not only have the best weather resistance, UV and ozone resistance, but also can withstand a wide range of temperature changes (for example: from -40 °C to 125 °C).

In order to cope with the potential dangers caused by high temperatures, manufacturers prefer to use double insulated rubber sheathed cables. However, the standard version of this type of cable is only allowed in environments with a maximum operating temperature of 60°C. In Europe, the measured temperature on the roof is as high as 100°C.

The solar cable is rated at 120°C (20,000 hours can be used). This rating is equivalent to 18 years of use at a continuous temperature of 90°C, and longer service life at temperatures below 90°C. Generally, the service life of solar energy equipment should be 20 to 30 years.
