How to choose durable furniture selection to be classified

Now, many families renovating in the spring have entered the stage of selecting furniture . In the face of the assortment of products on the market, how to choose durable furniture, many consumers are puzzled. In this issue, we invite experts to conduct a classification guide on the selection of solid wood furniture.

Solid wood furniture

Distinguishing solid wood is the key

The "General Technical Conditions for Wooden Furniture" classifies solid wood furniture into three categories: pure solid wood furniture, solid wood furniture, and solid wood veneer furniture. Only furniture made of solid wood can be called pure solid wood furniture; solid wood furniture is also called board-wood combined furniture, that is, tables, tables (chairs) legs and other frames are made of solid wood. Furniture made of wood-based panels for other parts; solid wood veneer furniture is made of wood-based panels, and the surface is decorated with solid wood veneer.

The classification of solid wood is exquisite

In the market, some merchants will pretend to be pure solid wood furniture by combining board with wood or solid wood veneer furniture. According to Yang Wenqiang, director of the R & D Department of the Top 100 Furniture, before buying, you must first ask whether it is pure solid wood, or a combination of wood and wood, or solid wood veneer. The material is clearly written in the contract.

It is not difficult to distinguish solid wood furniture. Pure solid wood furniture is made of solid wood, so there is no edge banding, and the horizontal and vertical lines (vertical plane) and the annual rings can be inherited. The longer the time is, the darker the color; if there is some In line with this feature, some are not, indicating that it is solid wood furniture combined with wood. If the joints of the parts have edge banding, the surface of the furniture has a unique natural texture of solid wood, but the color is blue. Change, indicating that it is solid wood veneer furniture.

Different tree species have their own characteristics

What kind of wood is made of solid wood directly affects the price and quality of furniture. Even if it is pure solid wood furniture, the price of the different tree species can be tens of times different, so the tree species must be specified in the contract.

Black walnut : It is light black brown with purple, and the cut surface is a large parabolic pattern, which is very expensive. It is usually only used to make wood veneer for furniture.

Cherry wood : light yellow-brown wood with a medium parabolic pattern and small circle patterns. It is a high-grade wood. It is usually made of veneer for furniture and rarely used as furniture core material.

Beech : Bright and light yellow in color, with a dense "needle" linear texture on the surface and a parabolic pattern on the cut surface. The imported beech wood in Europe has fewer defects. The imported beech wood is a medium-to-high-grade wood in China. It is commonly used as veneer and sometimes as a dining chair.

Maple : The color is light yellow, and the pattern is obvious water ripples or thin stripes. Maple is a mid-grade wood, which is very common for veneer and solid wood furniture.

Birch: Birch has a light yellow color and is characterized by a multi-black line texture. Birch is also a mid-grade wood, which is commonly used as solid wood furniture and veneer.

Rubber wood : The primary color is light yellowish brown, there are messy small rays, the material is light and soft, and it is a low-grade solid wood material. Some businesses call it "oak", which is actually a move to fish in muddy water.

A number of indicators help to recognize clearly

The instruction manual is requested and the instruction manual of the furniture product is checked. Because it must explain the materials, performance, environmental protection indicators, moisture content and other aspects of the product, it can provide a basis for future quality disputes and can also provide a reference for purchase.

The moisture content specification will also indicate the moisture content of the product. Generally speaking, the moisture content indicated in the specification should be 8% -12%.

More scarring affects the appearance, so the less scarring, the better. Regular manufacturers will put scars in invisible or invisible places when making solid wood furniture. Although many furniture are claimed to be dried and degreased, it is inevitable that there are irregular manufacturers that do not properly dry and degrease, resulting in products with insect eyes. Such products must not be selected. .

Steel Structures can be used in many industries such as foundation reinforce, electric power transmission structures and tubular scaffolding, etc.

A flange can also be a plate or ring to form a rim at the end of a pipe when fastened to the pipe. A blind flange is a plate for covering or closing the end of a pipe. A flange joint is a connection of pipes, where the connecting pieces have flanges by which the parts are bolted together.

Although the word flange generally refers to the actual raised rim or lip of a fitting, many flanged plumbing fittings are themselves known as 'flanges':

There are many different flange standards to be found worldwide. To allow easy functionality and interchangeability, these are designed to have standardised dimensions. Common world standards include ASA/ASME (USA), PN/DIN (European), BS10 (British/Australian), and JIS/KS (Japanese/Korean). In the USA, ANSI stopped publishing B16.5 in 1996, and the standard is ASME B16.5
