Ultra-precision spherical processing equipment passed the acceptance
The National 863 Program "Development of Ultra-precision Spherical Surface Machining Equipment" undertaken by Beijing Machine Tool Research Institute Precision Electromechanical Co., Ltd. recently passed the expert appraisal and acceptance organized by China Machinery Industry Federation. This machine is designed for high-precision spherical surface processing that is urgently needed in the country. It can meet the requirements of thin wall deformation and high surface roughness. The machine tool adopts integral damping structure, ultra-precision air-floating spindle and rotary table, and precise two-axis air-floating guide. The machining accuracy of the machine meets the urgent need of high-precision sphere machining. At the same time, through a large number of targeted process tests, a more complete process technology for spherical super-precision machining has been explored, which laid a foundation for mass production and promoted the development of ultra-precision manufacturing technology and equipment in China.
